Hoyara Jewellery is a Portuguese designer jewellery brand based in Vila Nova de Gaia. We operate our online shop at hoyarajewellery.com.

Data we collect
We only collect the information necessary to provide you with the service. The data we request depends on how you interact with us.
When you place an order
To process your order, we need:
- Name and billing address;
- Delivery address, if different;
- Email address and contact telephone number;
- Payment details (processed by the payment provider; we never store them).
When you subscribe to the newsletter

How we use your data
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and dispatch orders;
- Issue invoices and send confirmations;
- To contact you regarding your order;
- Verify payments and prevent fraud;
- Send the newsletter, once subscribed, featuring the latest news, new collections and limited editions;
- Respond to enquiries and complaints.
We do not use your data for any other purposes without your consent.
How long do we keep
We retain personal data for three years from the date of your last interaction with us. After this period, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to keep or delete the information.
There is certain data that we are required by law to retain for a longer period (invoices, accounting records, limitation periods). In such cases, we comply with the legal requirements.
Who we share with
We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes. We only share what is necessary to provide you with the service:
- Courier. To deliver your parcel, we share your name, address and telephone number with CTT (Correios de Portugal, S.A., Avenida D. João II, no. 13, 1999-001 Lisbon, informacao@ctt.pt).
- Payments. Payment details are processed directly by the payment providers (Stripe, MB WAY via ifthenpay) and never pass through our servers.
- Email platform. When you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored on the email platform we use.
All these partners are required to process data in accordance with the GDPR.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access. Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification. Correct incorrect or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure. Request the erasure of your data, in accordance with the conditions laid down by law.
- Right to restriction of processing. Request that we suspend the processing of your data in certain situations.
- Right to object. To object to the processing of data in certain situations.
- Right to data portability. Request that we transfer your data to another organisation or directly to you.
